It is missing. Where is it? Will we ever know peace again? Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Jews, Muslims, others, we all loose track of divine peace. As this week began, I didn't feel God's divine peace. I was too busy. My life was chaotic and as I focused on getting things done, I lost track of God. Then a young man gently said to me, "Hey relax. I am on my way to 'Chemo' treatment, so why are 'you' rushing?" He'd found his peace. This week, as theologians joined the mounting criticism of Thomas Kinkade, I began looking at his pastoral scenes again, such as "Aspen Chapel" (above) and saw not what I was missing but what was already found. For that reason, Kinkade is my NEWS OF WEEK.
